Founded by Devendra Kumar Garg, Vakil Chand Jain, Subhas Chand Jain, and Jaibha Gawan Verma, VSD Confin Limited was originally established under the name J S D Colonizers Pvt Ltd in February 1984. It transitioned into a public limited company in January 1995, subsequently adopting its current name in February of the same year. The company's operations encompass construction and development, consulting, urban planning, surveying, and valuation services. In February 1996, it initiated a public offering amounting to Rs. 10.50 crore to partially fund its expansion endeavors. This expansion aimed to procure various construction and other equipment to facilitate the swift execution of large-scale construction contracts and development projects, while maintaining high standards of quality. Additionally, the funds were allocated to construct residential and commercial units on a considerable scale. The fiscal year 1999-2000 witnessed a remarkable performance for the company, marked by a total turnover of Rs. 37.86 lakhs, a significant increase from Rs. 13.72 lakhs in the preceding year.
