In the period of 1999-2000, the company diversified its portfolio by venturing into Web-Multimedia/Software Tools. It also directed its attention towards Customized Enterprise Content Delivery Network, providing private Corporate Channels with Broadband quality services.
The company officially changed its name from Suri Capital & Leasing Ltd. to VirtualSoft System Limited on February 7, 2001.
In 2009-10, the company developed and implemented a B2B live Text Chat Platform with multi-panelist capabilities and multiple levels of moderation, featuring video functionality, for Intel India. Additionally, VirtualSoft successfully launched 7 Virtual Events for Intel during the same period. Through a strategic partnership with 6Connex Inc., VirtualSoft introduced a series of next-generation Virtual Experience-based events catering to demand generation, customer engagement, collaboration, learning, and knowledge management for esteemed brands like CNBC/ Web 18, Cisco, Oracle, and Intel, across India & APAC. Furthermore, VirtualSoft established a Telecom division in April 2010, focusing on Mobile Roaming Solutions for global travelers under the brand name 'Roam1' (www.roam1.com).
During the fiscal year 2010-11, the Telecom Division launched global roaming solutions and services under the 'Roam1' brand. To foster synergy between the Telecom and Roam1 Division with the Virtual Events and Demand Gen Division, the C2E2 Initiative, signifying Connect, Communicate, Engage Experientially, was conceived in 2011-12. This initiative acts as a bridge for collaboration in technology & product development, marketing, and large partner and account development.
In 2013-14, the Company divested the running and operating business of the Roam1 Division through a Slump Sale to Roam 1 Telecom Ltd, New Delhi, effective from June 30, 2014. This transaction, involving Part Cash and Part Stock, resulted in Roam 1 becoming a majority-held subsidiary of the Company.
