The company also provides general-purpose poly styrene, a transparent polymer used in various applications such as TV light diffuser plates, XPS insulation boards, refrigerator drawers, medical labware, PSP packaging, CD jewel boxes, disposable packaging, and clothes hangers. Furthermore, high-impact poly styrene resin is employed in electronics, housing products, refrigerator liners, door liners, injection molds, beverage cups, dairy product packaging, sheets, disposables, yogurt bottles, and toys. Formerly known as INEOS Styrolution India Limited, the company underwent a name change to Styrenix Performance Materials Limited in January 2023. Established in 1973, the company is headquartered in Vadodara, India, and operates as a subsidiary of Shiva Performance Materials Private Limited.
