With an installed capacity of 12,000 grower birds and 22,500 layer birds, geared towards hatching egg production, the company aims to expand its capacity to 36,000 grower birds and 72,000 layer birds annually. This expansion targets an increase in capacity from 3.37 million to 14.17 million poultry hatching eggs per annum. Currently, the company is scouting for suitable land with requisite infrastructure for this project.
In 1995-96, the company embarked on an expansion initiative, incorporating cutting-edge farm techniques for enhanced management, automation, hygiene, and bio-security. The upgraded farm features advanced equipment for research, analysis, disease management, and commercial farm technical services. This expansion increases the project's total capacity by 97,500 birds, leading to a boost in hatching egg production by 184.95 lakhs eggs annually, with a capital investment of 14.62 crores.
The company's hatcheries and contract rearing farms span across Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu, and Maharashtra. Despite navigating through recessionary periods, the management's proactive strategies have laid the foundation for exponential growth during favorable phases in the poultry industry. The pioneering efforts of the Simran Group are commendable.
