Established as a private limited company in May 1992 in Chennai, Gyan Developers Limited underwent conversion to a public limited company in March 1994. The founding promoters of the company are Gouthamchand, Ashok Raj, and Sampath Raj Jain. Currently, the company focuses on the development of residential buildings in Chennai. In February 1995, the company initiated a public issue to partially finance its housing development projects in multiple locations and to fulfill its long-term working capital needs.
