Abu Dhabi [UAE] Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of 2pointZero, a subsidiary of International Holding Company (IHC), participated in the inaugural three-day event on the final day of Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week. Under the theme 'Accelerating the Future of Globa Healthcare', it was organized by the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), and brought together medica and healthcare experts from across the world to exchange ideas. During the visit, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan visited the pavilion of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, as well as the stands of key partners, including M42, a global leader in using advanced technology. Reshape health care; PureHealth is the region's largest integrated healthcare network; and Burjeel Holdings which provides innovative health care solutions and complex care.He also visited the pavilion of the Institute for Healthier Living – Abu Dhabi, which focuses on precision medicine and AI to support early diagnosis, help promote longevity and improve health care regionally and globally. He added that the first edition of Abu Dhabi Globa Healthcare Week has served as a pioneering platform to strengthen collaboration and foster strategic partnerships in the UAE's healthcare sector. The partnership aims to accelerate the development of medical solutions to address regional and global challenges by supporting R&D, innovation and proactive healthcare approaches tailored to the needs of current and future populations. During Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week, several strategic agreements were made and innovative healthcare initiatives were launched.Programs and projects were launched to further enhance Abu Dhabi's position as a center of innovation and R&D in medica and life sciences, and as a leading hub advancing health care regionally and internationally. Among the partnerships was an agreement between the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and M42, which unveiled the largest hybrid cord blood bank in the region. The project is aligned with the UAE's health care strategy to tackle prevalent and chronic diseases, including cancer and hereditary conditions. Additionally, a MoU was signed between the Department of Health – Now Dubai, Mohammed Bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence and Core 42T to establish a global academy for artificial intelligence in healthcare. The initiative aims to build a sustainable future for health care by developing skills in cutting-edge technologies and high-precision methods in health care medical and pharmaceutical sciences.The inaugural edition of Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week attracted wide international attention. It was attended by over 5,000 participants including approximately 1,000 delegates, 100 exhibitors and over 250 speakers from across the world. Medical experts and scientists met to exchange ideas and explore the latest trends and technological innovations in healthcare. The discussion panel covered a wide range of topics, including disease diagnostic systems, pharmaceutical industry projects, and genetic research and development.
