Despite Lucknow Super Giants' early struggles and the pressure of the challenging situation, Badoni's innings demonstrated his composure and skill, turning the situation around for his team. His 73-run partnership with Arshad Khan helped Lucknow to post 167 for 6 against Delhi.

Speaking to the press after his half-century on Friday, Ayush Badoni revealed that he had flown to Australia in September 2023 to train under Justin Langer at a camp organized by Lucknow.

"I also have a good relationship with Justin Langer. I also went to Australia last year, where Justin taught me many things and helped me improve my game," Baden said.

He said, "I went to Australia in September, where we trained with Justin Lang, sponsored by Lucknow Super Giants. I was there with Justin for about a week to a day. He helped me improve my batting. This helped me a lot." ,

Ahead of the season, the 24-year-old had a successful Ranji Trophy season, scoring 333 runs in 6 matches, including a century and a half-century. Despite scoring 29 runs, including three single-digit scores, in the first four matches for LSG in the 2024 Indian Premier League, Badoni has made a comeback in scoring for the high team.

Badoni said, "I have had many conversations with KL Rahul. He always supports me. He tells me that 'you are the best player and can finish the game well.'

"The start of the season was not good for me, but I was performing well in the nets. Was confident. I am grateful to KL Rahul and Justin Langer who continued to support me," he said.

However, Badoni's brilliant half-century went in vain as Delhi Capitals declared the visitors winners by three wickets with the help of Jake Fraser-McGurk's 55 and Kuldeep Yadav's three-fer.
