New Delhi: Kareena Kapoor Khan on Sunday said Shloka Mehta looked "beautiful" at her brother-in-law Anant Ambani's pre-wedding festivities, where she wore the recreated version of the actor's costume in the popular song "Bole Chudiyan" from the film 2001. "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham..."

Shloka wore a sequined coral crop top, palazzo pants and a matching dupatta for Anant and Radhika Merchant's sangeet on Friday.

According to Shloka's sister and fashion consultant Diya Mehta Jatia, the look was a recreation of Kareena's iconic ensemble, originally designed for the film by famed designer Manish Malhotra.

"It looks FANTASTIC! While conceptualizing the sangeet style, we wanted to go for something fun, stylish and 'iconic'.

"After multiple rounds of discussions, we thought of diving into the archives and recreating OG @manishmalhotra05's 'bole chudiyan' look. It was an absolute stunner!!! @kareenakapoorkhan," Diya captioned a series of Shloka's pictures on Instagram.

Kareena, who skipped the star-studded event because she is on vacation with her family, appreciated Shloka's look on her Instagram story.

“Bole Chudiyaaan @shloka11 you look beautiful,” she wrote.

Malhotra also shared the photos of Shloka's look at the ceremony on his Instagram Stories.

Kareena may not have attended Anant-Radhika's sangeet ceremony, but she attended the first part of their pre-wedding celebration in March in Jamnagar, Gujarat, along with actor-husband Saif Ali Khan and their children Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan. .

She was last seen in "Crew", also starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The heist comedy, which released in March, turned out to be a hit and grossed over Rs 150 crore at the box office.
