New Delhi: A highly decomposed body of a woman was recovered from a house in North Delhi's Tilak Market area, police said on Friday.
He said that the deceased has not been identified yet but his age is likely to be around 50-60 years.
According to the police, they received information about foul smell coming from a house, following which a police team from Lahori Gate police station was sent to the spot.
"The premises were found locked from inside," a senior police officer said.
The officer said that the body has been kept in the mortuary and proceedings under section 174 of CrPC are being initiated.
