A 21-year-old woman was allegedly raped and murdered in a village in Chirala (Andhra Pradesh), Bapatla district on Friday morning. Police gave this information.
The body was found lying near a railway track in Sitarampuram area of Ipurupalem village.
Bapatla district superintendent of police Vakul said, "The woman had gone for nature care between 5:30 am to 5:45 am but did not return home, after which her family members started searching for her, who were eventually found dead." " Jindal said in a press release.

Police suspect that the woman was raped before she was murdered. A case was registered and five police teams were formed to investigate the murder.
