Ballia (UP), On Wednesday, a woman allegedly attacked her husband with a knife and killed him following a dispute in a village here. Police gave this information.
According to the police, an argument broke out over some issues between Deen Dayal Prasad (55) and his wife Heera Muni Devi (52) in a village under Bally Kotwali police station.
Local police post in-charge Gyan Prakash said, "There was an argument between the two in the morning over some issue. The husband started abusing and enraged by this, his wife attacked his neck with a knife."
Prakash said, "On the advice of the doctor, Deen Dayal Prasad was referred to Varanasi District Hospital. He died on the way. The body is being brought back and will be sent for post-mortem."
He told that Devi is currently absconding and she will be arrested soon.
