Nagpur: A woman kidnapped a 6-month-old baby from Nagpur railway station on Thursday, a police officer said.

Superintendent of Police (Railways) Akshay Shinde said the child, his siblings and parents were going from Amravati to Gondia and had to catch an early morning train from here.

"The couple reached Nagpur at 2 am with their two children, including a 4-year-old and the infant who was kidnapped. At 4:30 am they went to sleep and at 7:30 am the child was Kidnapped. We have got CCTV footage which shows a woman boarding a train with a child, Shinde said. Three teams have been formed to nab him and rescue the child."
