Bijnor (UP), Police arrested three men for allegedly gang-raping a woman here on Sunday.
He said that the accused have been identified as Shanky, Robin and Ankit.
Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Sanjeev Vajpayee said the incident took place on Friday when the accused took the woman (24) in their car and raped her near a tube well complex.
Vajpayee said, the victim told the police in her complaint that she knew the accused.
He said that on Saturday, based on the complaint of the victim, an FIR was registered under section 376D (gang rape) of the Indian Penal Code.
He said that the accused have been arrested and further investigation is underway.
