The 10-year-old daughter was found leaving her home in Ghaziabad and wandering on the streets of Delhi on January 20.

He was handed over to the Delhi Police, who handed him over to the care of the Child Welfare Committee.

The girl's medical test revealed that she had been raped.

The victim told police officers that her father had died four years ago and she and her 13-year-old brother were living with their maternal grandparents since then.

Last year, his mother had taken his siblings to their home in Ghaziabad. She was repeatedly sexually assaulted by her mother's friend, who had also sexually abused her 13-year-old brother. Due to harassment his brother had left home.

The girl said she left home when she learned that her mother was involved in prostitution after her father's death and she wanted to push her into the trade when she grew up.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Loni) Bhaskar Sharma said, "The girl has identified her rapist as Raju, a resident of Delhi. Even after he went missing on January 20, the mother had not filed a missing complaint. The victim said that she "To hide the mother and the crime, Raju would torture her and threaten her with tongs to ensure that she did not tell anyone about it. Both have been arrested."
