A 25-year-old woman was injured after falling from a train in Miryalaguda town of Hyderabad, Telangana, when a "drunk" man allegedly misbehaved with her in the coach.

The incident came to light on Tuesday when Visakha Express passed through Miryalaguda railway station. A 30-year-old man also fell from the sleeper coach of the train and was injured, a Government Railway Police official said on Wednesday. He said that both have been admitted to different hospitals and they are safe.

The woman, a teacher at a private school in Hyderabad, was traveling alone to Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh after boarding the train in Secunderabad on Tuesday.

The woman's husband later lodged a police complaint that when she was returning after washing her hands near the toilet, a "drunk" man standing near the door in the coach molested her and touched her inappropriately, when both of them fell off the train. Went.

Another GRP official said that after getting information about the incident from some passengers, they reached the spot and took the man and the woman to different hospitals.

However, the man told the police that when the brakes were suddenly applied he caught hold of the woman and the shock caused both of them to fall from the train and claimed that he did not misbehave with her.

The officer said that the person was found in an intoxicated state.

The officer said that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
