Two people, including a teenage girl, died due to lightning in Sultanpur (UP), Kudwar area on Friday. Police gave this information.

Kudwar police station in-charge Ram Vilas Yadav said that the incident took place in Sehagauli village at around 3 pm when Kusum Kori (46) and Nancy (13) were standing under a tree due to rain.

Sub-District Magistrate Thakur Prasad said that appropriate financial assistance will be given to the victim's family.
