Yamunanagar (Haryana): A 45-year-old woman and her son were found dead in their house in this district of Haryana on Sunday. Police gave this information.
The bodies of the woman, identified as Meena, and her 24-year-old son were found in a residential area, he said, adding that there was no one else in the house except the victims at the time of the incident.
Neighbors informed the police about the incident.
Police said that a case has been registered and investigation has been started.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DCP) Abhilaksh Joshi, Yamunanagar police station in-charge Jagdish Chandra visited the spot along with the police force and forensic teams.
The woman was found lying dead on the bed, while the body of her son Rahul was on the ground. Police said that the bodies have been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
Chandra said that the police are also collecting clues from CCTV cameras installed in the neighborhood.
