This acquisition will allow Wipro Hydraulics to expand its footprint in Canada, the US and Mexico as well as enter new segments such as refuse trucks, snow removal equipment, defense and remanufacturing in North America.

The acquisition also includes JARP Industries, a part of Mailhot Industries and a leader in custom hydraulic and remanufactured cylinders for sectors including utilities, mining, defense and oil and gas.

Established in 1956, Mailhot Industries specializes in the refuse truck and snow removal equipment market and is known for its product reliability in demanding work environments.



Additionally, Sitaram Ganesan, President, Wipro Hydraulics, said that the acquisition "will allow us to enhance our capabilities in existing sectors such as utilities and mining, enabling us to better serve our customers".
