New Delhi: IT major Wipro on Monday said it has appointed Bruno Schenk as country head and managing director for Switzerland with immediate effect.
He will report to Pierre Bruno, Wipro's Europe CEO.
The company said Schenk replaces Rene Mulder, who has decided to explore new opportunities beyond Wipro.
Schenk was previously CEO of Aviden Switzerland, an Atos business.
“I warmly welcome Schenk and I look forward to the insight, energy and rigor he will bring to our clients and teams in Switzerland and as part of our Europe leadership team,” said Pierre Bruno.
“René and Schenk will work closely together in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition. I want to thank René for his leadership over the past four years, delivering outstanding value and innovation, and building a strong, customer-focused team area,” he said.
In May, Wipro appointed Sharat Chand as regional head and managing director of its Northern Europe region.
He will report to Pierre Bruno, Wipro's Europe CEO.
