New Delhi [India], June 6: Wings to Bollywood sales company screened over 15 films at the Cannes market this year. Most of the films had their world premiere in the Cannes market.
Founders Brijesh Gurnani and Vikrant More, acting as sales agents at Cannes from India, said that they have been screening the Cannes market for the last 4 years and will continue to do so to showcase Indian talent at the global film market Cannes.
The films we screened this year include Khatib Mohammad's Am I A Hero, Hemant Chauhan's Break The Silence, Parth Akarkar's Antarnaad, Praveen Hingonia's Navras Katha Collage, Nilesh Jalamkar's Satyashodhak, Nippon Dholua's Mujhe School Nahi Jaana, Sunil's Happan Sangwala is included. In Search of Sunshine by Vyas, Arhaan Jamal, Kabir Humayun, Anshuman Chaturvedi, Partha Sarathi Mahant, Mohan Das.Chhaddi by Kirti Rawal, Gajra by Vineet Shama, Mannequin by Nadeem Ansari, Vansh by Rishi Manohar, She Justified by Mansi Dadhich, Jathere Shayanam by Purvi Kamalnayan Trivedi.
Vikrant More congratulated all the filmmakers from different parts of India who showcased their regional culture and skills at the Cannes Market.
Brijesh Gurnani said that this year we had a variety of Indian films with different languages and genres.
Vikrant More said that we are confident that next year too we will release amazing films like this year. We are very keen to support social filmmakers so they can connect with international buyers and distributors at Cannes.All filmmakers should submit their work for various state awards as the Government of India is also supporting the filmmakers in every way. Producers should come forward to support queer ideas so that budding filmmakers can showcase their creations to a wider audience through film festivals.
Cannes Film Festival is a mecca for cinephiles and fashion lovers so we want to showcase as much work as possible here.
