In a statement, the BSP president said that in future she would think twice before giving tickets to Muslims so that her party does not have to suffer losses like this time.

Mayawati further said that due to bad weather and extreme heat the voting percentage has been adversely affected.
"The Election Commission should in future ensure that these aspects are kept in mind while finalizing the election dates," he said.
