Nagpur: The wife of a man who was seriously injured in Thursday's blast at an explosives manufacturing unit in Nagpur is lying unconscious in the hospital where he is undergoing treatment and unfortunately the factory authorities are yet to contact her.

Six workers, including five women, were killed and three were injured in the blast that took place at Chamundi Explosives Private Limited at 1 pm in Dhamna village under Hingna police station area, about 25 km from here.

According to police, three injured people, including the woman's husband, are admitted in two private hospitals.

Wife Manisha Chavre said, "We came to know about the incident at 3 pm and I reached the hospital sometime later. The company officials have not contacted me or the families of the other injured persons. My husband suffered more than 80 percent burns." Are." Reported to be Pramod Chavre (35).

The mother of two daughters aged four and five said that there is anger as well as sadness in Dhamna village due to the incident.

Police have identified the deceased as Pranjali Kisna Modere (22), Prachi Shrikant Phalke (19), Vaishali Anand Kshirsagar (20), Monali Shankar Alon (25), Pannalal Bandewar (60) and Sheetal Ashish Chatap (30). .

Sheetal Chatap has a 6-year-old daughter, while Monali Alone has two sisters and a brother, while their family members are farm labourers.

Prachi Phalke is the youngest among the deceased and her father is a farm labourer, while Pannalal is the oldest among the deceased.

According to officials, the condition of the three injured, Shraddha Vanraj Patil, Pramod Chavre and Dansa Maharaskolhe, is critical.
