Baghpat (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Rejecting the predictions of exit poll results showing favorable results for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait took a dig at the Indian . The Janata Party (BJP) government says that these exit polls will not be able to compete with the "king" who is an "astrologer" as well as a "dictator".

Making a veiled attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tikait, speaking to reporters on Sunday, said, "We have already said that in a country where the king is an astrologer and a dictator, what will exit polls do? Who will compete with the king, whatever?" saying?"

The farmer leader said that if NDA has set a target of more than 400 seats, then it shows that a 'plan' for this had already been made.

“If they were already claiming to win more than 400 seats, it means the plan was already made,” Tikait said.

Raising questions on electronic voting machines, Tikait said that everything is decided in advance as to which machine has to go where.

“I don't understand...where are the EVM machines kept? They are repaired before the elections. Cells and batteries are installed.Whatever changes happen, everything happens from there. Which machine has to go where and what is the situation at that place is already decided,” said the farmer leader.

Speaking about the issues raised by BKU, Tikait said, "No matter who forms the government, we have issues like loan waiver, Swaminathan committee report, MSP guarantee law. These days, if you take the issue of environment, So the temperature is rising." The government is not concerned with this, no matter how much the heat increases, the government will cut the forest.

The BKU leader said they would fight any government that came to power if it took any wrong decision."We want trees to be planted, forests to be saved, we will fight for tribals. We will fight on different issues in every state, no matter who is in power. We will fight on issues at the state and central levels. We fight." We have no problem with who is in government, but they have wrong policies. We have no problem with any political party, if they take wrong decisions we will counter them through agitation.
