Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh) [India], Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday reached Chhindwara, the native place of Indian Air Force soldier Corporal Vicky Pahade, who succumbed to injuries sustained in a terrorist attack on Saturday evening, for the last rites. CM Yada said, "Corporal Vicky Pahade will be given a guard of honor and state honour, but no one can compensate for the personal loss. We are very proud of Vicky Pahade." He further said that Lok Sabha elections are going on and the Model Code of Conduct is in force. The conduct was enforced. Therefore, a proposal is being sent to the Election Commission to provide an ex-gratia amount of Rs 1 crore to the family of Indian Air Force soldier, Corporal Vicky Pahade, “Lok Sabha elections are going on and the Model Code of Conduct is in force."Therefore, we are writing to the Election Commission for approval of our tradition of providing an ex-gratia amount of Rs 1 crore to the family of Indian Air Force soldier, Corporal Vicky Pahade." He also said, "If the Air Force so If we are not able to provide service to our son, then the state government will be concerned about the future of Pahade's son, who is very young and like our son.'' I told the local people. It has been directed to discuss whether any statue, memorial should be established in his name or any ward of the district should be named., The state government will not let their sacrifice go in vain, we will always remember them, CM said. Earlier, the Indian Air Force soldier's sister, Geeta Pahade, who is a sub-inspector, said she was informed about the incident on Saturday night. Found out and he is proud Pahade said, "I am proud of my brother. I came to know about this (brother's demise) a day before yesterday. I want justice for my brother." Pahade's brother-in-law Sanju Gaunekar said, "We came to know about Matt on Saturday evening. We got a message around 6:30 pm that Pahade had been shot and was admitted to the hospital in Udhampur. Later we got a message around 6:30 pm that At 7:30 it was reported that he had died.We are proud of him, but it is a tragedy for the family as he was the only one in the family and had three sisters. His father had also passed away earlier,” he said, adding that Pahade is survived by his five-year-old son, wife, mother and sisters. Earlier on Sunday, the Indian Air Force expressed condolences on Corporal Vicky Pahade. "CAS Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary and all personnel of (The) Indian Air Force salute the brave Corporal Vicky Pahade, who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation in Poonch Sector. Our deepest condolences to the bereaved family."We stand firmly with you in this hour of grief," a post on the official X handle of the Indian Air Force read.
