He said that people living in low-lying areas in East and West Champaran districts have been shifted to safer places by the district administration.

"Due to moderate to heavy rains in some areas of the state, the water level of major rivers like Kosi, Bagmati, Gandak, Kamla and Adharva is rising in the last few days.
