Earlier on Monday, Delhi Water Minister Atishi had met LG Saxena to discuss the water crisis. In the meeting, Saxena assured them that he would talk to the Haryana government regarding the supply of water to Delhi.

After meeting Delhi LG, Atishi told ANI, "The water level in Wazirabad barrage has fallen and less water is coming in Munak canal. We spoke to LG Saxena about Haryana government releasing less water in Munak Canal and requested to do so.”
