Officials said the malfunction was first noticed at Ward No. 2 and Ward No. 13 polling stations, where voters were standing in queues early in the morning to cast their votes.

Voting was stopped at Tata High School polling station in Ward No. 2 while officials worked to fix the EVM problem. Similarly, in Ward No. 13, voting was disrupted due to EVM malfunction due to which only five votes were cast.
