There are 81,49,091 voters for the third phase in the four parliamentary constituencies.Dhubri seat is the largest in electoral size and Kokrajhar is the smallest. We have also installed GPS vehicles at 5266 polling stations and other official-carrying vehicles, Anurag Goyal said. He further said that in the four parliamentary constituencies, there are 41,00,54 male voters, 40,48,436 female voters and 111 third gender voters. "There are around 45,000 polling personnel and an equal number of voters. Police personnel have been deployed for the third phase of polling. Adequate companies of CAPFs and SAPFs.We have deployed adequate security personnel in critical areas. The welfare of polling personnel is our top priority. Anurag Goyal said, “There are four areas (river areas) and we have built a relationship with the State Disaster Management Authority and the BSF has also helped us in the international border areas.” He also said that 47 candidates including 6 women candidates are in the fray. Sitting MP and AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal is contesting from Dhubri Sagar against the Congress. MLA and former minister Rakibul Hussain candidate and AG candidate Zabed Islam Eight-time MLA and former minister Phani Bhushan Choudhary as AG candidate Deep Bayan, Congress candidate from Barpeta seat and CPI(M) candidate and sitting MLA Manoranjan Talukdar, UPPL candidate and sitting The MLA is contesting against Joyanta. Basumatary is contesting from Kokrajhar seat against BPF candidate Kampa Borgoyari and Congress candidate Garjan Mashahari. On the other hand, BJP candidate Bijuli Kalita Medhi is contesting the Guwahati seat again against Congress candidate and Assam Mahila Congress president Meera Borthakur Goswami.There are more than 81 lakh voters.
