New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday praised the Supreme Court for granting interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise duty policy scam case filed by the ED, saying it "exposes" the BJP's "conspiracy" against him. Has gone.

At a joint press conference, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Sandeep Pathak termed the Supreme Court verdict as a "triumph of truth".

Earlier, the party had said in a post in Hindi on Twitter, "Satyamev Jayate (Truth always prevails)".

Atishi claimed that the BJP knew that Kejriwal would get bail from the Supreme Court in the ED's money laundering case related to the excise policy matter and hence got him arrested by the CBI.

"Kejriwal was honest, is honest and will remain honest," he said, adding that every court of law has exposed the BJP's "conspiracy" against him.

Rajya Sabha member Pathak described the court order as "historic" and alleged that the excise policy case was a "circus" of the BJP.

Bhardwaj said, AAP is hopeful that Kejriwal will also get bail in the excise policy case filed by the CBI.

While granting interim bail, the top court said that Kejriwal had to stay in jail for more than 90 days.
