As trends show that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is heading towards a massive victory in the assembly elections, TDP workers started bursting crackers and distributing sweets.

There was a festive atmosphere at the TDP headquarters as leaders and workers joined in the celebrations.

The TDP-led alliance is leading in 158 constituencies in the 175-member assembly, while the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is leading in only 20 constituencies.

TDP seems to be capturing power on its own with lead in 131 constituencies.

TDP's ally Jana Sena Party (JSP) led by actor-politician Pawan Kalyan is leading in 20 constituencies, while the BJP is ahead in seven.

BJP state in-charge Siddharth Nath Singh met Chandrababu Naidu and congratulated him on the alliance's victory.

NDA is also leading in 21 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

TDP alone was ahead in 16 constituencies while its allies BJP and Jana Sena were ahead in three and two seats respectively.

Except one, TDP was leading in all the seats it contested.

BJP was ahead on three out of six seats.

Jana Sena also gained huge leads in both the constituencies where it contested.
