Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], BJP leader Madhavi Latha, who lost the recent Lok Sabha elections, on Sunday inspected a slum area in Falaknuma, Hyderabad and expressed concern about the living conditions.

"There is a slum here which is in a very bad condition. There is no proper water facility there. Drainage water and drinking water are mixing together. People are facing a lot of trouble here.There is no outlet for drainage water. There are no facilities for a government school... Look at the condition of the primary school... Its bathroom is not working properly... Its only teacher does not come for duty properly. We will lodge a complaint in this regard,” Lata told ANI.

Lata said, “What is the point of students getting education in such circumstances? We will not leave the cases like this.,

Lata claimed, "People have started vomiting. Once upon a time, 14 people had died there."

In Hyderabad, Madhavi Lata lost to Asaduddin Owaisi by more than three lakh votes. While Owaisi got 6,61,981 votes, Madhavi Lata got 3,23,894 votes.

The results of the recently held Lok Sabha elections were declared on Tuesday, in which BJP has won eight seats, Congress eight and AIMIM one seat in Telangana.In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BRS (then TRS) won nine out of 17 seats, while BJP and Congress got four and three seats respectively.
