This initiative has been launched to promote sustainable livelihoods by training local women in various crafts. It aims to promote and facilitate the revenue model of these women by providing them a platform where they can sell their arts and crafts in the appropriate market, thereby ultimately increasing their household income. Under this project, women from 21 villages of Jharsuguda are trained in traditional art forms like Pattachitra painting, Saura painting, palm lee painting, jute stitching, cane and bamboo art, terracotta crafts as well as modern art forms like mandala art and appliqué.
