It also promised exemption from National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in the state.

VCK founding leader and India Bloc candidate for Chidambaram (SC Reserve) seat Thol Thirumavalavan released the manifesto by handing over a copy of the FIR to Tamil Nadu Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, MRK Panneerselva, at Jayankondapattinam near Chidambaram.

In the manifesto, the VCK supported a separate law for honor killings.

The VCK leader said the party is in favor of repealing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), abolishing the post of Governor and the proposed policy of one nation, one election.

The manifesto also demanded extension of work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNRA) to 200 days and a pension scheme for farm labourers.

"The VCK manifesto demands greater autonomy for the states and the establishment of a Supreme Court branch in Chennai. The party also demands making Tamil the official language of the Madras High Court," the leader said.

The VCK manifesto also supports granting statehood to the Union Territory of Puducherry, he said.
