New Delhi [India], Ahead of Char Dham Yatra 2024, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday flagged off 300 'Sevadars' of the 'Bhandar Programme' running along with Baba Kedarnath Doli Yatra from Uttarakhand Sada in Delhi. .
In a post on Twitter, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, "A team of 300 volunteers of the 'Bhandara Programme' running along with the Baba Kedarnath Doli Yatra was flagged off virtually from Uttarakhand Sadan, New Delhi.
He said, “Many devotees participate in this holy journey from Ukhimath to Kedarnath Dham, this Bhandara being organized for them is a commendable step. Best wishes to all the volunteers for the successful organization of the program.'' Expressing happiness, he said, ''Our Char Dham is located in the sacred Himalayan region of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, a symbol of faith of Sanatan lovers all over the world... Baba Shri Kedarnath Dham. The doors are going to open on Akshaya Tritiya on 10th May.Before the start of Char Dham, Bhogmurthi of Panchmukhi Lord Kedarnath (five faced idol of Lord Hanuman), Chal Vigraha Utsav Doli Yatra departs from Panchkedar Gaddisthal Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath for its residence and then from Guptkashi via Phata and Gaurikund. Thousands of devotees of Baba reach Shri Kedarnath Dham. Devotees from India and abroad participate in this grand and divine Doli Yatra of four days. During this, devotees take the Utsa Doli Yatra to Kedarnath Dham amidst the sound of Veda mantras and spiritual songs. Bhandaras are organized by the youth of the state during the four-day yatra. C. Dhami will make food and other necessary arrangements for all the devotees coming for the Utsav Doli Yatra of Baba Kedar. Like 2023, this year also 'Sevadaar Team' will organize 'Mukhya Sevak Ka Bhandar Program' from May 5 to May 10.All preparations have been completed to successfully organize Bhandara in Ukhimath, Guptkashi, Fata, Gaurikund and Kedarnath. Special care will be taken of cleanliness and environment during the entire program. On 6th May, Ratri Bhandara will be organized in Ukhimath in the morning and Guptkashi in the afternoon. On May 7, there will be morning Bhandara in Guptkash and afternoon and night Bhandara in Fata. On May 8, morning Bhandara will be organized in Fata and afternoon and night Bhandara will be organized in Gaurikun.On May 9, there will be morning Bhandara at Gaurikund, Bhandara for afternoon and night will be distributed through packets and Bhandara will be done at Kedarnath Dham. The whole day long Bhandara will be organized at four different places in Kedarnath. Baba Kedar's palanquin will reach Shri Dham on 9th May. Kedarnath Dham is passing through various stages and when the doors of the temple will open on May 10, flowers will be showered from the sky at various places through helicopters.
