Nainital, Uttarakhand High Court started live-streaming of its proceedings from Monday.

Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari and Justice Ravindra Maithani live telecasted the proceedings of their courtroom on Monday.

Uttarakhand Bar Council President Mahendra Pal said that the step taken by Registrar General Ashish Naithani is welcome. He said that this will create a more transparent judiciary and strengthen the confidence of the common man in the judicial system.

Naithani issued a statement saying that to make this service successful, everyone involved in the process should use it responsibly.
