Rudraprayag: Seven pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh and Haryana were injured when a dhaba collapsed on the Kedarnath route here. Officials gave this information on Tuesday.

Rudraprayag District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar said that the incident occurred at around 8.45 pm on Monday night.

He told that a dhaba located here suddenly collapsed and the devotees sitting inside were buried under the debris.

The rescue team immediately reached the spot and the injured were brought to Gaurikund. Rajwar said that after first aid, he was sent to a higher health center for treatment.

Gwalior residents Reena Yadav (36), her sons Nikant Yadav (14) and Kartik Yadav; He said that the injured included Rekha Yadav (35), her son Aaradhya Yadav (13) and Shreyansh Yadav (13).

He said that Ujjwal Bhatia (23), resident of Faridabad, Haryana, was also injured in this incident.
