Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], The Uttar Pradesh government has started the rejuvenation of aided schools in the state. Following the detailed action plan prepared as per the wishes of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the process to connect these schools to an online platform has begun. A mobile application will soon be developed that will integrate Aadhaar and other vital information about students and staff.

This app will be equipped with many features including geotagging and a module for teaching staff. The Department of Social Welfare has entrusted the responsibility of its development to Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Limited (UPLC). Moving forward in the process, the UPLC has started the process of selecting and assigning work to the included companies and has sought applications through electronic bidding.

Preparations are being made to develop the application, completing various processes. In this sequence, the application development service providing agency selected by UPLC after allocation will have to first prepare a detailed project study based on the feedback received from the department officials.

Next, important data will be collected from the aided schools, including information about students, staff, Aadhaar and other crucial information. This data will be compiled and adjusted according to the System Requirements Specification (SRS). The project report and detailed report will be created based on this, paving the way for the development of the application.

Based on the System Requirements Specification, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) will guide the development of the application and online modules including the registration module and Management Information System (MIS). The registration module will be divided into three categories: student registration, staff registration and school (infrastructure) registration. These modules will be developed on the basis of easy accessibility.

This mobile application based on online modules is being developed to manage an extensive database, allowing tracking and access to information of more than 60,000 students from a single platform. The application will include date of birth, gender, mobile number, address, family background, social and financial details of students, Aadhaar validation and academic records. Similar information will also be recorded for staff and teachers.

Additionally, the app will store details about the schools including name, full address, administration details, and latitude and longitude coordinates.

The app will be equipped with advanced security features like login and access to 400+ attended schools, address (admin) login, enabled ID password management, user role definition and permission access, listing, easy-to-use accessibility, analytics and scalability. . The implementing agency will also ensure that a hosting service is developed based on 16 GB of RAM, one terabyte of storage and a search engine optimized application.

In addition, annual maintenance and a three-day official training will be provided for staff, following the recommendations of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT).
