Ghaziabad (UP), A YouTuber was rescued from Mathura after he was allegedly kidnapped by a group of people, police here said on Friday.
He said that the accused have been identified as Rahul, Manish, Surendra, Pushpendra, Hitesh and Manoj.
DCP City Zone Rajesh Kumar Singh said that Rahul, close to YouTuber Praveen, lost a huge amount in gambling. After this, he along with his associates planned to kidnap Praveen and extort money from him.
Singh said, Manish and Surendra took Praveen to Mathura, where the police rescued him.
“We have arrested Manish (38) and Surendra (32) for kidnapping Praveen,” Singh said. The search for the remaining accused is ongoing.
