A woman living in a differently-abled school was allegedly gang-raped by three people, including the school head, in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district. Police gave this information on Friday.
He said the victim is a 26-year-old mentally challenged woman who was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped in April and has been missing since then.
School president Rajesh Ratnakar, former guard Ram Kailash and school worker Amrita were arrested on Thursday on charges of gang rape.
He told that this incident took place in Narendrapur village of Haidergarh police station area of the district.
On Tuesday, on the complaint of school director Sunita Devi, a case of gang rape was registered against the three.
Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh said that all three accused have been arrested. He said that the matter is being investigated and efforts are being made to trace the woman.
