Kotli [POJK], United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) has strongly condemned the killing of a Kashmiri man in Pakistan.

Chaudhary Usman, a resident of Jalwa Gujran in Kotli district of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, was allegedly abducted from Rawalpindi and later brutally murdered in Chakwal after going missing for a week.

Central leaders like UKPNP President and Founder, Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri, Sardar Nasir Aziz Khan and other party members condemned this heinous act.

He emphasized the disturbing trend of targeted killings of PoJK residents within Pakistan, particularly in Punjab. UKPNP leaders highlighted the failure of higher authorities, the administration and the judiciary to deliver justice, with no arrests or punishment of the perpetrators.

Expressing deep sorrow over the situation, UKPNP demanded a thorough investigation into the killings of Kashmiris and called for bringing the perpetrators to justice while providing compensation to the affected families.

Furthermore, he called on the United Nations to put pressure on Pakistan to take immediate steps to protect the lives, property and liberty of people in PoJK and Pakistan-occupied Gilgit Baltistan.

The incident joins a series of similar targeted violence, raising concerns over the safety of Kashmiris living in Pakistan. Reports indicate that such targeted attacks often go unpunished, and perpetrators are rarely held accountable. This lack of justice perpetuates the cycle of fear and insecurity among Kashmiri communities living in PoJK.
