Mumbai, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who is the BJP candidate from Mumbai North Lok Sabha seat, moved into his new house here on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa festival on Tuesday.



Goyal performed puja and installed a decorated 'Gudi' at his house in Borivali area, which symbolizes new beginnings.



Later, speaking to reporters, Rajya Sabha member Goyal said, "Today is a lucky day. After coming to North Mumbai, I entered my new house with the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. I can celebrate the Hindu New Year with my workers." I am. I wish him a very happy New Year."



Sitting MP from Mumbai North Gopal Shetty was also present in Goyal's new house.



This time, BJP has removed Shetty and given ticket to Union Commerce and Industry Minister Goyal for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Voting will be held on all six seats of Mumbai on May 20.
