Taking to social media, Minister Joshi claimed that the state government is conspiring against the 81-year-old former CM by filing a false case against him to hide its misgovernance.

Joshi said, "The Congress party lost the recently held general elections. Unable to accept defeat, it is busy using the administration as per its whims and wishes."

Joshi said, "Home Minister Dr G. Parameshwara had said four months ago, when the POCSO case was registered against Yediyurappa, that the complainant had filed the case with malicious intent. However, after the elections, Congress leaders A new drama has started...” Joshi said.

Joshi further said that Home Minister Parameshwara himself has mentioned that the woman who filed the complaint has filed more than 60 cases against various IAS, IPS officers and politicians. "Now, with the sole intention of hiding his misgovernance, Yediyurappa is being targeted," the Union minister said.

"Dragging Yediyurappa into a false case is vendetta politics. He will learn a lesson from this act," he said.
