New Delhi: Two men robbed a 27-year-old Ugandan national and tore her clothes in Chhatarpur Hills area of ​​South Delhi. Police gave this information on Friday.

When the police reached the spot in response to the PCR call, the woman was found injured on the road.

"At around 12 noon on Thursday, a PCR call was received at police station Mehrauli regarding a woman being injured. On reaching the spot, a Ugandan woman was found injured," a police officer said.

Two people, 24-year-old Manoj and 26-year-old Rinku Kashyap, both labourers, have been arrested in connection with the attack, the official said.

Police said that according to the complaint of the victim, at around 10.45 pm, she was passing through 'Phool Mandi' on 100 feet road in Chhatarpur Pahari when she saw that two people were following her, who were also accompanied by a dog. .

She got scared and tried to move away from the dog, but the two caught her from behind and pulled her behind the wall. Before fleeing, they hit him on the head with a stone and tore his clothes, he said.

The woman alleged that two men snatched her purse, which contained Rs 800 in cash and a silver ring.

"Both are drug addicts...when they were caught they were found drunk," the officer said.
