13-year-old singer Aryan from Gurdaspur, Punjab enthralled the audience with the song 'Udja Kale Kawan' from Sunny Deol starrer 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha'.
Praising Aryan, Udit Narayan shared his memories related to the song and said, "I am speechless and I have no words to praise your performance. it was incredible.Aryan, you sang at a much higher level than what I sang when I was performing this song. I still remember that 2001 was the year when 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' and 'Lagaan' released on the same day, 15th June, and both created history. They became musical blockbusters.
He said who knew that 'Gadar 2' would be made after 22 years and Mithun would recreate the songs of Uttam Singh. Recreating a hit is a big challenge.The singer shared: “Anil Sharma, the director of both the films, called me and Mithun ji and when we met, Mithun said, 'Udit ji, when your film released, I was in college, and I was your fan. . But I want to tell you that when I started working on this film, I got a lot of requests through emails - they said, 'If you are making Gadar again, you have to take Udit Narayan's voice again.' I felt good to hear this.”
