"The Assembly election is going to decide which identity of Maharashtra will be written in history. Do you want the identity of Maharashtra as a state of saints, Lord Shiva and fighters or do you want a Maharashtra of traitors, powerless, and rogues ?I will fight and will not allow Maharashtra to be identified as the state of traitors, helpless and rogues," he said in his speech at the Shiv Sankalp Yatra in Sambhajinagar, where the party's candidate Chandrakant Khaire lost to the Shiv Sena candidate. and state minister Sandipan Bhumre in the Lok Sabha elections.

Thackeray led a scathing attack on Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, saying the traitors had won by stealth.

"They stole the Shiv Sena and the party's symbol, the bow and arrow, to seize power. Their policy is to stay in power despite being recognized as traitors. However, my policy is that I will never commit treason even if I lose. the power". he stated.

Thackeray said that Shiv Sena, led by Shinde, used the photographs of his father and Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray along with a bow and arrow during the election campaign to seek votes.

"Many people told me that they voted for the bow and arrow symbol because the torch symbol of Shiv Sena UBT came to the people quite late. Now we have to burn their sins with the torch," he added.

Thackeray heavily criticized the Shinde government's freebies and concessions to various sectors, including women, girls, farmers and youth, in the state budget, saying they had been announced with an eye on the Assembly elections.

"I always say that there is a drought of plans and a drought of execution. The veil of the sins of this government has been torn. This government wants to hide under the cover of various plans. Farmer suicides have not stopped yet. When As Minister Principal had announced full debt relief for farmers. Maybe it's my stupidity," he said.

Thackeray challenged the Shinde government to waive both outstanding electricity arrears and current electricity bills for farmers.

"Don't just waive electricity bills alone. Or announce that you are going to recover the arrears," he said.

Thackeray recalled that after Balasaheb Thackeray promised to waive electricity bills for farmers if they came to power in 2004, then Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde promised the same.

"The farmers then did not receive any electricity bill. The Shiv Sena lost the elections when the Congress-NCP came back to power. However, after the elections, Shinde was replaced by Vilasrao Deshmukh as Chief Minister, but after that, the free electricity The decision was reversed because farmers were sent inflated bills," he recalled.

Thackeray said that he deliberately chose Sambhajinagar to launch his state-wide Yatra and tell the traitors that Shiv Sena-UBT will win next time.

"I regret that there is no MP from the Shiv Sena-UBT, although it was our winning seat. The Modi government was going to win with more than 400, but in Maharashtra, we have taken them (BJP) to 9. I am a fighter, I have come to Sambhajinagar with the desire to win again," he said.

Meanwhile, a large number of activists, including BJP leader and former deputy mayor Raju Shinde, joined the Shiv Sena-UBT in the presence of Thackeray.
