Since announcing the campaign in May during a press conference, the ministry has launched an awareness campaign across various media channels, including its website and social media platforms. The Ministry of Health asks carefully selected citizens and resident families in the health survey sample to cooperate and facilitate the work of the field team. The team is made up of researchers and statisticians licensed and accredited by the relevant authorities, working under the supervision of a senior committee that includes representatives of all stakeholders.

MoHAP added that the successful execution of the national health survey campaign, supported by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority and other government agencies, depends on the cooperation of participants in completing the electronic questionnaires.Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Deputy Undersecretary of the Public Health Sector, said: "The deployment of the National Health and Nutrition Survey teams was coordinated with our partners and local authorities."

The survey will be conducted through face-to-face interviews during field visits, using electronic questionnaires supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and national health authorities. These questionnaires are available in four languages ​​(Arabic, English, Hindi and Urdu) to ensure that data is collected comprehensively and accurately from various segments of the society.

Harbi further clarified that the survey would include a wide spectrum of health and nutrition indicators. These include socioeconomic factors, household health expenditures, the prevalence of non-communicable diseases and their risk factors, biophysical measurements, access to healthcare, micronutrient deficiencies, dietary intake, child growth metrics, and maternal health. He highlighted the ministry's commitment to data confidentiality, ensuring that the information collected will be used only for statistical and research purposes. Harbi called on all citizens and residents in the survey sample to cooperate with the teams of the survey, directly contributing to shaping the future of UAE healthcare.

The National Health and Nutrition Survey 2024-2025 targets a large sample of 10,000 families for the health survey and another 10,000 for the nutrition survey, composed of 40 percent Emirati citizens and 60 percent expatriates, in addition to 2,000 workers. Target age groups include seniors, adults over 18 years old, women from 15 to 49 years old, pregnant women and children from one day to 17 years old.
