Gadchiroli: Two hardcore Naxalites carrying a collective reward of Rs 10 lakh were arrested in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra on Tuesday. Police gave this information.

According to an official release, the two were involved in violence against security forces and killed a person in Pengunda in the district.

It said that the C-60 Pranahita squad, which is conducting anti-Naxal operations, found two people roaming suspiciously in the limits of Bhamragarh sub-division and took them into custody.

Ravi Mura Pallo (33) was an action team commander and Doba Korake Vadde (31) was a member of Bhamragarh LOS, the release said.

Both were involved in the murder of Dinesh Gawde in Pengunda village in November 2023.

Palo had a bounty of Rs 8 lakh and was involved in encounters, arson and three murders, while he had 18 crimes carrying a bounty of Rs 2 lakh, the release said.
