Ghaziabad (UP): Two farm laborers died and one was injured after a tractor trolley fell into a drain here, police said on Friday.
Police said the victims have been identified as Upendra (28), Vinay (22) and Chandra Bali (33).
Bhojpur police station in-charge Sumit Sudhakar Ramteke told that the laborers were working at the house of farmer Vinod Kumar. On Thursday, they were taking sugarcane seeds to another field in a tractor trolley, when the driver Upendra lost control of the vehicle and it fell into the drain.
The police station in-charge said that the local people saved the victims and took them to the hospital where the doctor declared Upendra and Vinay brought dead.
He told that Bali is undergoing treatment and his condition is said to be critical.
He told that with the help of a crane the tractor-trolley was taken out of the drain.
Ramteke said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
