Gautam Budh Nagar (Uttar Pradesh) [India], On April 15, an encounter took place between Beta-2 police team and robbers on the service road near Chuharpur underpass in Greater Noida during police checking. Two miscreants, Guddu, resident of Nangla Pankhian village of Shahjahanpur and Babu, resident of Jabar Park, Delhi, have been arrested. The police also recovered a bag full of stolen jewellery, two illegal pistols, four live and one spent cartridge of 0.315. Bores, as well as items like auto, screwdriver, pliers etc. used in the incident were recovered from the possession of the miscreants. According to the police, the miscreants had fired at the police team with the intention of killing them. The team retaliated and the miscreant Guddu was injured. The injured criminal has been sent to the hospital for treatment. Two other accused have fled from the spot taking advantage of the darkness, their search is on.

People left the tempo and ran towards the forest and fired at the police team, in which the police team fired at them, in which one of the accused named Guddu was shot in the leg. The team caught another accused named Babu… A search operation is being conducted to nab both the arrested accused. Both the arrested robbers are vicious criminals who possess illegal weapons like pistols and commit crimes by breaking locks, latches, gates etc. During the night, accused Guddu, along with his arrested co-accused Babu and other associates, had committed theft in a closed house of IFS Society under police station Beta-2 area on March 8. Action is being taken against the accused, Guddu is an active member of Pankhiya gang. and has previously been jailed in Police Station 202 from Beta-2 area in a robbery case with a Navy officer.
