BERON [Czech Republic], Tvesa Malik fired a brilliant 5-under 67 on the final day of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, an event won by her colleague Diksha Dagar a year ago. As Tvesa finished at Ti-25, the best among Indians this week, Olympics-bound Diksha was Ti-43.

Spain's Marta Martin shot a brilliant 63 (-9) on the final day to win by four strokes. He had produced rounds of 69 and 67 over the first two days to sit in second place after 36 holes at the Royal Beroun Golf Club.

In a good week for the six-player Indian contingent, all six made the cut.

As Tvesa regained her form, the other Indians at T-33 were amateurs Avni Prashant (69-70-72) and Vaani Kapoor (68-70-73). Reigning champions Diksha Dagar (71-72-70) and Pranavi Urs (71-69-73) finished T-43rd and Ridhima Dilawari (70-72-72) finished T-54th.

Next week LET will travel to Golfpark Holzhausen for the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open from June 28-30.

There will once again be six Indians in the field led by Deeksha Dagar and Tvesa Malik. Apart from this, Vaani Kapoor and Ridhima Dilawari, Sahar Atwal and Amandeep Dral are also there. Pranavi will not participate in this program.

It was Marta's second pro win and her second in Czechia after winning the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge on the LET Access Series in 2023.

England's Rosie Davis finished second after scoring 63 (-9) on the final day – her best result to date on the LET. Finland's Ursula Wikström, Wales' Chloe Williams and Sweden's Caroline Hedwall all tied for third at 12-under-par.
